iPad Reader Pulse Teams Up With Posterous To Make You A News Aggregator

This is pretty cool. It's a whole lot faster than having to log into my computer, read my feeds through my email client, click on the link to view the full article, then share that article through Posterous.

Who finds these sorts of apps useful? What apps do you use to read your feeds? Pulse, Early Edition, FlipBook, etc.???

this looks very promising. i feel kind of like flipbook is an unfinished product every time i use it - it only pulls in certain things not everything. have you tried out pulse yet?

I saw the Pulse app in action briefly and it seemed like a very polished product. Not having played with Pulse or Flipbook in depth, I can't provide a detailed review of these apps.

Some of the reader apps available have gone the way of loading a limited amount of feeds for the benefit of speed and judging what I saw in the Pulse app, the speed of which it loaded the feeds and loaded up the individual articles, it seems to be worth the $4.

As the demand for quality feed aggregators grow, the number of apps available will soon come down to the ones offering an optimized data consumption algorithm, more open social integration, and better reading quality.

Which apps do you think will rise to the top?

i feel like rss is starting to go the way of 3d movies. hot for a while and appreciated in some circles, but loosing their appeal to the masses. to the average person it makes no sense to "subscribe to a rss" when they can follow the company on facebook and twitter - something that they are using on a daily basis already anyway. personally, i'm starting to fall more and more into that camp, so that's why flipbook and this new pulse reader are so promising to me - they put social into an easy to read format and make it easy to share.
